The artwork is realized for the Cyprus – Wonder Island Collection of the Imago Mundi / Fondazione Benetton Project.

In order to be part of the collection, every participant receives the same sized canvas as a start point; therefore, each artist has very similar elements in their artworks as result. The project ‘Copy of a Copy of a Copy of a Copy’ is made by copying the original canvas 5 times with different methods. In the process of finding the final, each copy interrupted by the artist intentionally. Canvas being a sentimental and historic material for artists’ expressions; as a contrast, the final positive is made with epoxy resin to give the canvas a synthetic, unsentimental, semi-clear, hard, cold, plastic featured look.
