Fatma Nur Özogul is a Cypriot artist based in Vienna, working across education, scenographic sculpture, interactive objects, audio-visual installations, participatory performances and critical inquiry.

She holds a degree of BA in Plastic Arts with High Honours from the Near East University, Cyprus and a degree of MA in Sculptural Conceptions/Ceramics with a dissertation topic focusing on ‘Time’ from the University of Art and Industrial Design Linz, Austria. 

Her artistic research explores the body, time, glitches and systems of perception, revealing hidden structures through interdisciplinary approaches. Her works intend to point out the unseen problems, unrecognized repetitions, different aspects of daily life and create parallel dimensions of them by combining multi-layered disciplines of her profession.

Since 2008, the artist have been working in cooperation with many international art associations and groups as: Österreichische Bundestheater, Imago Mundi, EMAA, E.KA.TE, IAPMA, ECUME, Ifek, IGC, Rooftop Theater Group, Goldafter Antikuratorium, Maiz Autonomous Center and Der Verein das kollektiv.
