The project gets its inspiration from the famous Chinese water torture. The glass bottles are filled and prepared to drip a drop in every 10 minutes into little ceramic cups which are half-full with clear water. The water drops are ineffectively quiet when one focuses on one. However, the drips are taking so long to drop for the one who waits. The waiting for an action becomes a torture.
